Become more active in the Northeast Illinois Chapter
Sponsorship Committee
Nurtures existing sponsor relationships by inviting them to events and reminding them of their benefits. Provides recommendations for sponsorship goals and categories. Actively coordinates generating sponsorship along with other committees to meet yearly budget targets.

Programs Committee
Plans, promotes and attends the chapter's continuing education programs to include 18 hours LU and 12 hours HSW LU's.

Digital Communications
Connects with and informs members about programs events, advocacy and key issues in the profession. Promotes members, member firms and the chapter. Manages and creates content for the AIA Northeast IL website and social media accounts.

Outreach Committee
Welcomes new members, manages the emerging professional programs and plans networking and social events including STEM Night and Architecture Week events.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE+I)
Partners with allied organizations to host programs, work on initiatives that improve access to the profession to underserved populations and has established a scholarship for students in underserved communities who are looking to study architecture.

Small Firm Forum
Coordinates monthly programs to address challenges facing smaller architectural firms. These monthly meetings occur on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at the Downers Grove Public Library.

Scholarship
Coordinates our annual scholarship for students pursuing architecture degrees at local NAAB accredited Universities. Members of the committee interview applicants and make a final recommendation as to the winners.
