WASHINGTON – July 29, 2026 – The 2026 Women’s Leadership Summit (WLS), dedicated to advancing women into leadership roles in architecture, design, and allied building industries, will be held in Kansas City, Mo., from November 1 to 3, 2026.
Registration is now open for WLS.
The Women’s Leadership Summit, founded by The American Institute of Architects (AIA), features three days of networking, education, community building, and inspiration. The event aims to support the advancement of women across the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) sectors by addressing workplace challenges and sharing strategies that strengthen leadership, career development, and professional success. Participants in Kansas City will join peers across the architecture, engineering and construction fields to share knowledge, discuss current design trends and promote women professionals in AEC who are leading change — shaping careers, building inclusive firm cultures and transforming the built environment.
The summit is supported by organizations and sponsors from across the architecture and building industries, including architecture firms and product manufacturers committed to supporting women in design and construction. Their involvement helps ensure a diverse range of perspectives and fosters discussion about both ongoing challenges and emerging opportunities for women in the field.
Registration for the November event is open to all professionals in the AEC industries. The summit offers access to discussions, workshops, and networking sessions focused on advancing gender equity and supporting women’s leadership across the field. Special registration rates are available for members of AIA members.
