Fire stations, for example, must support emergency response procedures while creating comfortable living and working environments for personnel. Designed to support a wide variety of athletic programs, the Stryker Sports Complex in Wichita, Kansas, demonstrates how pre-engineered systems can create expansive, unobstructed spaces suitable for sporting events, tournaments, and community gatherings alike. The facility blends operational efficiency with architectural character while providing the flexibility needed to facilitate future growth as community participation increases.
