Cameron S. Bolin, AIA, is a 2026 recipient of the AIA Young Architect Award. He advances sustainable design, housing innovation, and community impact through leadership, advocacy, and practice.

Cameron S. Bolin, AIA, is a project director at Sanders Pace Architecture whose work demonstrates the power of design to advance environmental stewardship, housing access, and community well-being. His portfolio includes nationally recognized projects such as the Loghaven Artist Residency and Dogan-Gaither Flats, an adaptive reuse project transforming a historic motel into supportive housing.
Bolin’s leadership extends beyond practice into meaningful professional and civic impact. As president of AIA East Tennessee, he has expanded the role of architects in addressing regional challenges—founding its Committee on the Environment, advancing resilience planning, and creating platforms like HOUSING ETN to engage professionals and students in addressing the housing crisis.
Grounded in a belief that design should serve everyone, Bolin brings together research, advocacy, and mentorship to elevate the profession. Through teaching, public engagement, and collaborative leadership, he fosters a culture of shared responsibility—empowering others to contribute to a more sustainable, equitable, and resilient built environment.
