Lyndley Kent, AIA, LFA, is a 2026 recipient of the AIA Young Architect Award. She advances climate-focused design and equitable practice by transforming values into measurable systems, impactful projects, and national leadership.

Lyndley Kent, AIA, LFA, is a principal at Neumann Monson Architects whose work integrates climate action, equity, and design excellence. She has led nationally recognized projects, including Market One and the Stanley Center for Peace and Security, demonstrating how high-performance design can create lasting community impact.
At the firm level, Kent has helped embed equity and sustainability into practice. She guided multiple JUST Label certifications, strengthened policies supporting pay equity and workplace flexibility, and advanced the firm’s AIA 2030 Commitment reporting, turning values into replicable systems that influence both culture and performance.
Kent’s leadership extends nationally through her work with AIA’s Committee on the Environment, where she has contributed to the development of tools and frameworks that support sustainable design across the profession. Through mentorship, speaking, and advocacy, she continues to expand the reach of equitable, climate-forward practice, demonstrating a clear ripple effect beyond her firm and region.
