America ByDesign Season 4
America ByDesign 2025 is a celebration of creativity, diversity, and the endless possibilities of human ingenuity. Join us as we explore the architectural marvels that define who we are and inspire the future—one design at a time. Whether you’re a design enthusiast or simply curious about the spaces that shape our lives, this series will entertain and inspire.

America ByDesign is a magazine-style half-hour television program exclusively showcasing some of the best of American architecture from AIA members, from awe-inspiring architectural homes on the lake, to design that reflects culture and learning, to architecture centered on sustainability and collaboration.
AIA has exclusive first access to each episode in the series for the architecture community—ahead of the general broadcast. Just as AIA believes “design belongs to everyone,” ByDesign is committed to showcasing design in technology, living, science, and architecture to everyone. As associates and members of AIA are passionate about excellence in design, a collaborative partnership with the ByDesign series is a natural fit!
Season 4 of America ByDesign kicks off with five incredible projects. We begin in Seattle, Washington, with the expansion of the stunning Seattle Aquarium Ocean Pavilion. Next, we visit Ponce City Market in Atlanta, Georgia, a historic building transformed into a bustling hub of culture, food, and retail. Then, the Great Dharma Chan Monastery in Colorado makes a statement about sustainable design. In New York, we showcase The Treadwell, a residential tower that blends the classic Art Deco style of Manhattan with contemporary design. Finally, we head to Orange County, California, to the Sandi Simon Center for Dance at Chapman University—a former orange-packing house that has been beautifully reimagined for the next generation of artists.
